Be Part of Something Bigger
Be Part of Something Bigger
At Crystal Lake Raiders Youth Football & Cheer, we know our success depends on the dedication of our volunteers. Your time and energy directly impact our athletes—creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for them to grow and thrive.
Whether you're helping with coaching, event setup, game-day operations, or community outreach, your involvement makes a difference—and we offer flexible opportunities to match your interests and availability.
Volunteer Requirement: 3 Hours Per Family
To support the success of our program, each family is required to complete a minimum of 3 volunteer hours during the season. We offer two options to meet this requirement:
🔹 Option 1: Volunteer Opt-Out
Can’t commit to volunteering this season? You may opt out by paying a $150 fee during registration.
- This fee is non-refundable and final once selected.
- Families who opt out are not eligible for a deposit refund.
🔹 Option 2: Volunteer Deposit
Families who choose to fulfill their hours will pay a $150 volunteer deposit at registration.
- This deposit will be refunded after the final game of the season (November 2025) if all hours are completed and verified.
- Volunteer hours must be signed up for and tracked through your Crossbar account.
- Only hours logged through the Crossbar system will count toward the 3-hour requirement.
Failure to complete the required hours will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Unpaid balances may affect athlete eligibility for future seasons.
Tracking Your Hours with Crossbar
Crossbar offers a simple way to manage your volunteer commitment:
- Log in to your Crossbar account or app
- Navigate to the Volunteer tab to view and sign up for available shifts
- Hours are automatically logged the day after your shift is completed
- Track your progress throughout the season from your family dashboard
Why Volunteer?
- Support your child and their teammates
- Strengthen our Raider community
- Contribute to a fun and safe experience for all athletes
- Fulfill your hours in ways that suit your schedule and skills
Thank you for being part of the Crystal Lake Raiders family. Together, we can make this season incredible—for the kids, and for the community
